Lead Product Designer
I led product design at Urthecast overseeing all customer-facing products. I designed the Developer Center and the API tools to help developers use Urthecast Earth Observation data.
- Grew the design team to three product designers and one graphic designer providing mentorship and career growth.
- Integrated the design process into the Engineering scrum cycle.
- Worked with leadership and cross-functional partners to establish a company design process and user research practice. Worked with engineering and PMs to define metrics for success.
- Developed the company's first brand guidelines and a library of reusable design components and patterns.
- Led user research, data analysis and design concepting to support a product proposal for the executive team. Based on our presentation the company pivoted to a developer-focused Earth Observation API platform.

Product Designer
I drove the user experience and design for web and mobile products.
I designed web browser video producer tools to simplify audience management tasks, and the audience experience to incentivize participation. I designed audience video clients for iOS.
I integrated the design process into the Engineering scrum cycle. I worked in tandem with engineering and product managers (PM) to provide fast mvp releases and test product assumptions and flows.
I performed user research and synthesized qualitative and quantitative data to drive measurable improvements to design solutions.

3D Artist, Designer
I worked in a creative agency as a 3D generalist and designer. I did texture and lighting setups for product renders, created marketing video and stills for the TouchPad and Palm Veer products, and created 360 VR renders of the Apple store in Grand Central NYC.
I integrated design sprint process into the creative and storyboard tasks and led sprints with client and agency teams.

Interaction Designer
I worked as a designer at a software agency, working with clients to define requirements, user research and UI design.
I designed the first iOS app for Inditex Zara, Uterque and Zara home. I established information architecture for the catalogs, trace user flows and prototype concepts, and conducted user testing.
I designed European directories iOS app version 1 creating the first mobile experience for yellow pages in Europe.
I designed Bobot, a game for kids; defining interactions, user-flows and art directing the illustration process.

Designer
As a consultant and member of the agency creative team I facilitated design thinking sprints for clients. Projects were focused on engineering problems and new product ideas. I performed design audits before sprints reviewing documentation, user research and interviewing stakeholders.
Clients: Metalquimia, Cafes Cornella, La Fageda.

As a consultant I designed the brand strategy in collaboration with the client and oversaw execution of all work streams: office environment design, online presence, print collateral (catalogs, letterhead, invoices, etc.)
I created virtual photography stills for the sales catalog from CAD blueprints.

Co-founder, Designer
I co-founded a design firm focusing on design strategy and computer visualizations. I managed sales, legal and financials for the business.
As a designer I designed brand strategy for AEtech providing guidelines for the brand redesign project. I created still and film visualizations for interior design and architectural firms. Clients Redbull, Sonar,Barcelona optics, Burgarolas Architects, Proclub Architects, Ros Architects.
I created technical animations to display manufacturing process for pharmaceutical machinery company Inoxpa.

June ‘03 - July ‘06 (3 years)
Product Engineer
I oversaw production line ramp-up from series 1 to first year mass-production goals for Volkswagen Eos convertible leather back seat.
I worked on the definition of design specs to enter mass-production cycle after prototype-cycle for Citroen Picasso 2 third-line seats.
I defined new fabrics and productivity updates in the production line for Citroen Picasso & Peugeot 306 front seats keeping to target of 4% cost reduction per year.
I led a team of pattern designers and prototype injection foamers to perform productivity updates and production validation.

Design Engineer
I designed new conceptual seats at the “Centre d’Estude et Recherche pour l’Automobile”. C.E.R.A
Clients. VW, Audi, Seat, Toyota, Peugeot, Citroen.
I created virtual photography stills (texturing and lighting setups) for new seat concepts from CAD models.
